Earlier this month, the greens of Falconhead Golf Course were abuzz with more than just the usual birdies and bogeys. The course hosted a gathering of local businesses and community members, all brought together by the Lake Travis Chamber of Commerce.
A day of golf, networking, and community building.
Among the sponsors was a name that’s becoming increasingly synonymous with innovative design and community spirit: Motif Architects.
As the proud sponsors of one of the most popular attractions of the tournament – the beer hole – Motif Architects not only quenched the thirst of the players but also ignited conversations about architecture, design, and the future of our Hill Country.
The tournament provided an invaluable opportunity for our team to engage with the Lake Travis community, sharing insights, forging connections, and showcasing the craftsmanship that defines our work.
Our small architectural firm stood out, not just for sponsoring the beer hole, but for the enthusiasm and passion we brought to the event. It was a day of promoting not just our business, but the values we stand for: our love of the community, understanding our clients needs, and a commitment to tailoring our designs to fit the unique lifestyles of our clients.
Rachel and I, representing the heart and soul of Motif Architects, had an absolute blast!
The laughter, the friendly competition, and the shared stories under the Texas sun were a reminder of why we do what we do. It’s about more than just buildings; it’s about creating spaces that bring people together, much like the golf tournament itself.
The stakes were high, and not just on the scorecards.
Participants had their eyes on the array of prizes, the most coveted being a brand new Jeep for the lucky golfer who could land a hole-in-one. At our booth, Rachel and I set up a one-putt golf challenge that quickly became the center of attention. Golfers of all skill levels lined up to take their shot at glory, and the air was thick with friendly rivalry and anticipation.
The victors earned more than just bragging rights; they walked away with a gift bag brimming with goodies: customized Ramblers, koozies, golf balls and tees. It was a celebration of skill, luck, and the spirit of the game, all wrapped up in a package that perfectly captured the essence of the day.
