Within a day or so - a majority of the house and garage's "tape / float" was completed. The process is always fun to watch in person, as the crew moves very fast.. and focused.
Taping and floating drywall is the process of blending the joint between 2 pieces of gypsum (commonly referred to as drywall). The process is relatively easy - Lay down mesh tape over the joints, apply compound and drag the top edge of the drywall knife across the compound.
This will result in a uniformed finish - and allow for the next step.. texture, prime and paint.
